TürkçeParlumi is now on Android: get it free on Google Play
It was the question we heard most: "What about Android?" Well, it's here. Parlumi is free to download on Google Play from today, with everything the iPhone version already had.
What's in the Android version
The same app, with the same courses and the same features:
- All nine courses from A1 to C2: Spanish, French, Italian, Brazilian Portuguese, Catalan, German, Dutch, Swedish and English.
- The app in 13 languages, with explanations written for speakers of your language.
- Five-minute lessons with flashcards, typing, listening at normal or slow speed, speaking exercises with pronunciation feedback and a story at the end of each unit.
- Reviews of the words you find hard, a placement test and an exam at the end of each level.
- Streak, XP, gems and a daily goal, with a reminder at the time you choose.
- Friends, 60-second duels, the weekly ranking and the Parlumi city, with your neighbourhood for the week.
- Offline lessons.
Already using Parlumi on iPhone?
Your progress comes with you. If you have an account, install the app on Android, sign in with the same email and you'll find your courses, streak, gems and friends exactly where you left them. You can even use both phones: everything stays in sync.
On Android you can also sign in with your Google account, with no password to type.
Which phones are supported
Parlumi runs on phones with Android 8.0 or later. For the speaking exercises, the app uses your phone's own speech recognition; if you'd rather not use the microphone, you can turn those exercises off in the settings.
How to get it
- Open Google Play on your phone and search for "Parlumi".
- Install the app: it's free.
- Choose the language you want to learn and do your first lesson. You don't need an account to try it.
You can also use the Google Play button at the end of this article or on the home page.
Bring your Android friends along
Now that Parlumi is on both platforms, there's no excuse: you can invite any friend, whatever phone they have, and challenge them to a duel. If you'd like to know more about the app, read what Parlumi is and how it works.
